Kashmiri Warriors newly-crowned Bar Lane Tapeball League Champions
After eight weeks, 52 games and 1,624 runs, it all came down to one night.
On Wednesday 8 November, the newly re-branded Bar Lane Tapeball League hosted its first Super-Series Finals Night.
In its new home at Bar Lane Community Sports in Basford, the league had been much closer than ever before and had reduced the gap between the top and bottom teams, leading to some very close games and unexpected results.
Desi Lions Victorious in Super-Series Final
Following six weeks of closely-fought fixtures, 1,500 runs and over 140 dismissals the Alchemy Tapeball League rolled into its first ever Super-Series Finals Night with a buzz in the air.
With our very own Samit Patel in attendance and the added pressure of the television cameras courtesy of Notts TV, Desi Lions were crowned champions of the inaugural Alchemy Tapeball League, beating Nottingham Reds in a tense finale.

Street Success in Regional Competition
Easter 2017 saw our junior street programmes join forces to enter two teams in the Street Regional Competition in Birmingham, finishing 4th and 2nd overall and subsequently qualifying for National Finals to be held in Wolverhampton in July.
Whilst there, The Guardian caught up with Bilal and Ihtisham from the Djanogly Street programme.
