What is Super 1s?
Super 1s is a Lord's Taverners programme designed to give cricketing opportunities, both coaching and competitive, to young people with disabilities (12-25 years old).
By creating community cricket hubs, young people will be able to receive regular coaching from Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club coaches. This will give participants the chance to compete against peers and enjoy the physical and social benefits of sport and an active lifestyle.
How does it help?
Super 1s provides young people with a chance to realise their potential, both on and off the pitch. The programme will help increase levels of communication, leadership and independence in young people with disabilities and give them the confidence to transition into local cricket clubs.
