Last weekend, Trent Bridge played host to the final of the National Table Cricket tournament, organised and officiated by CP Sport.
Of the seven sides taking part on the day, St Ives were crowned the overall champions, beating Nottinghamshire's Portland College in the final.
St Ives secured a 13-run victory, scoring 250 off their six overs in reply to Portland College's 237.
Table cricket, a form of the game designed for people with physical and learning difficulties, is a growing sport, this event part of a three-year programme funded by Sport England designed to increase adult participation and improve player retention.
The event was supported by fifteen volunteers, including a number representing the Ashes Legacy Partnership, Nottingham Trent University and Central Nottingham College.
