Senior Head Coach Opportunity
With the face of women’s cricket constantly evolving, Nottinghamshire Cricket Board is moving to appoint a Senior Head Coach for the 2016 season.
Up to now, the role has been on a voluntary basis but for the first time the Women’s Head Coach will be paid for their efforts.
The post will involve developing the senior women’s coaching programme, managing performance within domestic competitions and responsibilities for developing talented players.
The appointment comes in light of national changes within women’s cricket, including the introduction of the 2016 Women’s Super League. The post runs from January to September.
“This is an opportunity for the Nottinghamshire Cricket Board to invest in the provision of women’s cricket at the pinnacle of the Nottinghamshire player pathway,” Jack Arnold, Cricket Development Officer, said.
“The introduction of a paid head coach will provide an enhanced service to our current and future players ensuring every player reaches their full potential.”
