Nottinghamshire Cricket Board (NCB) are looking to appoint fundraising consultants to help clubs in the county raise money for the recreational game.
Volunteers will be expected to work with a number of cricket clubs to help them raise the profile of their clubs, as well as raise valuable funds, using the ECB Fundraising document as a guide to support and develop cricket clubs.
Tasks will include:
- To understand the financial requirements of a cricket club
- To utilise existing ECB partnerships – i.e. through CricketForce
- To identify all funding possibilities, ranging from match day opportunities to larger fundraising events
- To utilise the ECB fundraising guide to assist a number of cricket clubs
- To seek alternative external funding opportunities – Local Authority, Sport England, County Sports Partnerships, www.fundrazor.com, Charitable trusts, etc
- Working with a number of clubs throughout the summer, you will be expected to help plan and deliver fundraising opportunities for local clubs
