Chance to Shine Schools Officer
12 month fixed-term contract
The Nottinghamshire Cricket Board is looking to recruit three dynamic and enthusiastic Schools Officers to deliver our Chance to Shine Schools Programme.
The Chance to Shine Schools Officers will work closely with a number of primary schools to use cricket to help them achieve whole school improvements. Previous experience of working or coaching in a school/educational environment, specifically with 5–8 year olds, is essential.
We are looking for officers who are passionate about promoting and supporting schools
to engage in cricket opportunities. The officers will work with a range of primary schools who have been identified as being a priority for Nottinghamshire and will be responsible for delivering six-week activity sessions alongside class teachers to Key Stage 1 and 2 pupils (aged 5-8) as well as assemblies and roadshows. Promoting Chance to Shine online resources to teachers is a crucial part of the programme.
Working closely with our Club Development Officers you will ensure that there are transition opportunities into our local cricket offers.
To be successful in this role you will need to show initiative, and have strong organisational and IT skills. The post holder must be a self-starter, innovative, reliable and flexible.
Applicants are required to have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
